Vivo India posted an official video teaser on X confirming that the vivo X Fold6 will appear at the "vivo NEXT 2026" event on October 6. Alongside the foldable phone, the teaser prominently features visuals of a mixed-reality headset.

Expanding Beyond the V80 Series

Vivo previously announced plans to unveil the vivo V80 smartphone and the S2 FE in India on October 6. The "vivo NEXT 2026" presentation will stream live across Vivo India's YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook channels starting at 12:00 PM IST. Promotional materials also report Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra as a special guest attending the event.

The teaser displays the vivo X Fold6 in a Nebula Teal color variant. The foldable originally launched in China on June 26, followed by an international announcement on October 1. Reported specifications for the global release include an 8.02-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display, a 6.51-inch cover display, a 6,900 mAh battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging, and a 200MP primary camera sensor.

Mixed Reality Hardware

The companion hardware in the teaser is reported to be the vivo Vision Explorer Edition, an MR headset previously shown in China.

Vivo has not confirmed whether it will commercially launch the MR headset in India or solely demonstrate the hardware. Official Indian pricing, configuration variants, commercial release dates, and additional color options for the teased devices remain unannounced.
