Oppo Find N7 Leak Points to 200MP Quad Camera and Crease-Free Display
Fresh supply chain leaks detail a quad-camera system with a 200MP sensor and a redesigned crease-reducing hinge for Oppo's next flagship foldable.

Oppo is testing a major hardware overhaul for its next folding flagship. Leaks detailing an engineering prototype of the Oppo Find N7 indicate the device will pair a 200MP quad rear camera system with a 7.6-inch inner display built around a crease-reducing hinge mechanism.
The details emerged via Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, whose posts outline key specifications for the upcoming handset. Oppo introduced the Find N6 in March 2026, and the next generation appears targeted at addressing two recurring friction points in foldable design: physical screen creasing and secondary camera compromises.
Quad-Lens Camera Setup and Danxia Color Sensor
According to the leak, Oppo is equipping the Find N7 prototype with four rear sensors. A 200MP primary sensor anchors the array, flanked by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The fourth sensor is an auxiliary 3MP multispectral camera designated as the Danxia Color Restoration Lens.
Multispectral sensors capture light outside standard RGB channels to compute ambient color temperature and lighting conditions. Oppo maintains an ongoing imaging partnership with Hasselblad for color tuning, and the dedicated sensor is intended to improve white balance and skin tone accuracy across varied environments.
Whether the 200MP main camera and 50MP secondary units rely on new hardware or carry over components from existing devices remains unconfirmed. Early reports also conflict on the module layout: some early leaks indicated Oppo tested a horizontal camera visor, while other test reports describe a circular or pill-shaped housing.
Passport-Style Sizing and Crease-Free Display
The Find N7 engineering unit reportedly features a 7.6-inch folding inner panel manufactured by Samsung Display, alongside a 5.5-inch outer cover screen. That marks a shift toward a wider, passport-style form factor compared to the predecessor Find N6, which carried an 8.12-inch main panel and a 6.62-inch cover screen.
The panel sits over a redesigned hinge engineered to minimize display creasing. While folding phones have steadily improved screen flatness, producing a panel that remains visually flat when unfolded remains a major target across the industry.
Under the hood, the device is tipped to run on Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, built on a 2nm fabrication process. Reports claim the Find N7 would be the first foldable device combining 2nm silicon with a 7.6-inch screen and this hinge design.
Silicon-Carbon Battery and Projected Launch
Battery specifications indicate a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon pack, representing a 500mAh increase over the 6,000mAh capacity in the Find N6. Silicon-carbon anodes allow manufacturers to increase energy density without adding significant physical bulk to the chassis.
Oppo has not officially confirmed specifications, launch dates, or pricing for the device. Supply chain expectations point toward an official debut in the first quarter of 2027, potentially aligning with a March window similar to its predecessor.
